All D-BAT Newark Camps are led by Instructors who have either played professionally or in college. Our instructors are knowledgeable, experienced, and know how communicate with youth players to make their experience the absolute best. Our Summer Camps are high energy, fast-paced and fun.
Skills are progressed throughout the week and fun games and challenges will reinforce our teachings. D-BAT Newark Summer Camps have the lowest coach to player ratio of any camp! This allows us to keep our players actively engaged and get them repetitions needed to improve their game. Each player will be quickly evaluated on day one and grouped with players of the same age and skill level to keep them challenged. We have something for all skill levels!
Learn
• FIELDING – fielding footwork, glove placement, receiving, ball transfers and throwing mechanics
• BASE RUNNING – home to 1st, hook & banana turns, tag plays, outfield reads, and pickle run downs
• HITTING – swing mechanics including load, stride, leg drive, separation and bat path
